One night Chad finds a bird that is rumored to bring bad luck to anyone that is around it. But even knowing this Chad takes the bird because he has a does not want it to be alone.
After Chad has an accident he is brought to Ichigo’s house to be treated. While Sleeping Karin (Ichigo’s sister) finds out that the bird is really the soul of a young boy who saw his mother’s Murder. The boy is now being hunted by a Hollow (for an unknown reason).
The episode ends with a weakend Rukia fighting the Hollow and Chad racing to help her.
