The Episode starts with Ichigo and his Family going to there Mothers grave because it is June 17 the anniversary of there’s mother’s death. Rukia asks Ichigo if a Hollow killed his mother and this makes Ichigo made and says it is his fault she is dead. After Ichigo storms off Saidou Eikichirou appears.
Saidou, a Shinigami, asks Rukia why she hasn’t returned to the soul society. Rukia is reluctant to tell him but Ichigo accidentally tells him that he is a substitute Soul Reaper; which is felony. Then Saidou tells Rukia she needs to come with him but Ichigo stops him and they fight.
While this is happening Ichigo’s sisters are being attacked by a Hollow and Ichigo and Rukia run off to save them.
