Soifon
Captain of the 2nd Division
Commander of the Secret Mobile Unit (SMU).

Back Story: Born Fon Shaolin, she was apart of the Fon noble house under the Shihouin noble family. Being born into the Fon family, Fon Shaolin had to serve those of the Shihouin family and become a member of the SMU. Those who failed this test to become one were forcefully taken out of family. Fon Shaolin as expected of her, passed the test and followed in her families footsteps and took on her grandmothers name, Soifon. Working under Yoruichi who was the former commander of the SMU, Soifon was adopted as her mentor and loyal guardian. When Yourichi fled Soul Society, Soifon obtained all her titles and became commander of the SMU. Roughly 100 years before the Bleach storyline, Soifon became Captain of the 2nd Division. Her Vice Captain is Marechiyo Oomaeda.

Zanpaku-to: Her Zanpaku-to is called Suzumebachi which looks like a cross between a Katana and a Chinese Saber. Her Initial release call, "Sting all enemies to death" causes Suzumebachi to form and shrink over Soifon's right hand and wrist. Formed over her index finger is a large stinger which is the main offensive point she uses.

Soul Society: The Sneak Entry Series: No information.

Soul Society: The Rescue Series: Attending Rukia's execution at the Sogyoku she found the ammount of people attending pitiful. At the surprise of Ichigo, Renji, Syunsui and Jushiro saving Rukia and destroying the Sogyoku, Soifon was suddenly grabbed and taken off the cliff side. As she fell with the mysterious attacker, she revealed that she was Yoruichi and blew herself and Soifon out of the sky into the trees below. Taking on battle with her they were evenly matched in Hakuda. But being the Commander of the SMU, Soifon ordered her team to attack but Yoruichi beat each one up swiftly and easily. Now taking things seriously Soifon showed how much she had improved by trying to out do Yoruichi in Houhou by using Shunpô. Soifon quickly got to Yoruichi's back and revealed her Initial Release Suzumebachi. Scartching Yoruichi in various places, Soifon was on the verge on winning the battle if she could inflict damage on the same spot again. Going for the kill, Soifon showed Yoruichi a tecnhique she had developed but didn't make a name. But was put short when Yoruichi did the same technique and said it's name is Shunkô, a move she had developed combining Hakuda and Kidô together. Soifon without a word was quickly on the recieving end of the Shunkô. Left standing, Soifon grabbed Yoruichi and cried at her feet. Suddenly she heard about Sousuke's betrayel and quickly with Yoruichi left to the Sogyoku to capture Sousuke, Gin and Kaname.

!Anime Only! The Bount Series: Learning about the Bount appearing and that Yoruichi was investigating the matter, Soifon with Shigekuni's permission left for Karakura Town and met up with Yoruichi to help her against the matter.
