Shuhei Hisagi
Vice Captain of the 9th Division
Back Story: A respectful man with a 69 Tattoo on his face. During his younger years he was leading a group of Soul Reaper Academy Students which in the class included Renji, Izuru and Momo to the Human World to have Hollow Slaying practise. The practise was only for Dummy Hollows but the group were assaulted and attacked by high level Hollows and Shuhei had to step in and gained 3 scars running down the right side of his face. It is known that Shuhei was a talented member at the Soul Reaper Academy and quickly was moved to a Vice Captain position. With such a quick assension in rank he became the teacher of one of the classes.

Soul Society: The Rescue Series: Being alongside Kaname when he faced Kenpachi. Shuhei was directed to fight Yumichika while Kaname deals with Kenpachi. Doing so he rushes off to another location and fights. Proving too much for Yumichika he asks for him to stop fighting. Yumichika denies the offer and says it's not the 11th Division way. Yumichika manages to get up and show Shuhei something. He reveales the true form of his Initial release, which he has kept secret. This new form completely absorbs all of Shuhei's Spiritual energy and leaves him exhausted not being able to move thus losing the fight. After Sousuke, Gin and Kaname left for Hueco Mundo, Shuhehi found Sajin at Kaname's friend's grave and asked Sajin if Kaname will ever return.
!Anime Only! The Bount Series: Noticing that the Bount's are proving too much, he heads down to Karakura Town to lend a hand and finds Rukia under the control of Mabashi's Doll. Shuhei had no choice but planned to kill Rukia so he could kill Mabashi but luckily Orihime manages to extract the doll from Rukia. Shuhei destroys the Doll and aims to kill Mabashi but he manages to get away. Shuhei teamed up with Izuru and headed for a cave which they learned the Bount must of gone through. Finally meeting up with the Bount, they are no match and left unconsious.
