Vice Captain of the 10th Division

Information: A loud mouthed girl and mostly always cheerful and happy, and occasionally likes to drink Sake though she is a serious and strong contender when she needs to be.

Back Story:Being an orphan in Rukongai she was alone for as long as she can remember. During her childhood she was saved by Gin Ichimaru and became friends. In a general question, Gin asked of Rangiku's birthday but alas she does not know it, so Gin made her Birthday up of the date they both met.

Zanpaku-to: Her Zanpaku-to Haineko is a Katana. Little is know about her Initial release except that she calls "Howl" to unleash it and that it turns to ash. She mentioned about trying to achieve Final release but explained that her Zanpaku-to is to lazy.

Agent Of The Soul Reaper Series: No information.

Soul Society: The Sneak Entry Series: Like most of the Vice Captains, Rangiku was also shocked to see Renji beaten by the intruders. The next day, Rangiku was with Izuru and suddenly heard her scream. Rushing to her location she along with everyone else found Sousuke dead, haning on the side of a wall. With Toushiro jumping in to stop Momo and Izuru from killing each other, he gave the order to send them both off to prison. Rangiku grabbed Momo and held her down and escorted her to a cell. Later that day, Rangiku managed to find a letter on Sousuke's body addressed to Momo, Rangiku took the letter and gave it to her. Meeting back up with her Captain, they were suddenly informed that Momo, Izuru and Renji had escaped their cells.

Soul Society: The Rescue Series: Rangiku followed shortly after Toushiro had left to find Gin thinking he was part of this matter. Just in time, Rangiku arrived to block an attack from Gin aiming at Momo's unconsious body on the ground. Watching Gin walk away and dissapear, she and Toushiro escorted Momo to another prison and locked it using Kidô. Heading back to the main office of the 10th Division, Rangiku thought back to her childhood together with Gin and wondered why he was always so mysterious. Recieving and order from Toushiro, both of them together headed towards Center 46 to consult on the matter of Gin and Sousuke's death. But to their surprise they found Center 46 completely sut down. Finally managing to gain access they found all 46 judges slaughtered. Investigating, Toushiro and Rangiku understood that they all must of been killed a long time ago. In that moment they saw Izuru walk by the door looking at them. Quickly giving chase they followed him leaving the Center 46 office. Toushiro realising that something is wrong left Rangiku to deal with Izuru and headed back to Center 46. Rangiku caught up with Izrur and aksed a reasoning but was cut short by a quick attack from Izuru. Without chat, Izuru released his Initial release. Rangiku knowing something is wrong with him she drew her Zanpaku-to and parryed all of Izuru's surprisingly easy and obvious attacks. But she quickly realised that her Zanpaku-to is getting heavier and heavier. Izuru noted that he never showed Wabisuke's power to her before and stated that he intentionally made such simple attacks so she would block them fully utilizing Wabisuke's ability. Now in a position that Rangiku could no longer lift her Zanpaku-to she stated calmly that she has never shown her Initial release to him before either. Calling out, Growl Haineko her Zanpaku-to's blade turned to ash and blew into the wind. After Sousuke was found and learned of his betrayel, Rangiku recieved word from Isane and she quickly left to help her Captain who was mentioned to be in a critical condition leaving behind Izuru who was seen beaten, wounded and sitting against a wall. Rangiku appeared at the Sogyoku and grabbed Gin from behind holding her Zanpaku-to to his neck. But when the sky opened up and Gin began floating into the air towards Hueco Mundo, he turned around and for once showed sadness apologizing to Rangiku. She looked at him and asked him where was he going this time. A couple of days later, Rangiku was confronted by Izuru apologizing deeply for his actions and wanting to be friends again. Rangiku asked Izuru if he would mind sitting down with her and having some Sake, agreeing to the offer they are next both seen completely drunk and friends once more.

!Anime Only! The Bount Series: Being allowed to lend a hand against the Bount, she quickly made her way to Karakura Town and managed to find Yasutora, Ururu and Nova confronted by the Bount Sawatari. Lending a hand, Rangiku jumps in and faces Sawatari who activates his Doll Baura to fight them. Unforunatly, Ururu is swallowed by Baura, so Rangiku uses herself as bait so that Yasutora can deliver an attack which will hopefully make Baura spit Ururu back out. Managing to make it work, Yasutora throws Baura to Nova who tries to absorb the doll to make Ururu come back but cannot contain such power and Baura escapes. Now exhuasted, it was left to Rangiku and Yasutora to fight the doll somehow to get Ururu out. Not being able to fight back they are left trying to dodge the attacks and find an opening. Luckily Nova manages to get together some energy to fight with and teleports himself and the Bount to another location to give them chance to think about what to do. Rangiku, by using her Kidô, links her energy and Nova's energy together to sense the Bount's location and manage to succeed in freeing Ururu from the Doll. Advancing further she arrives in time to help Ichigo and his friends as they fight Ugaki's Doll at the mouth of a cave.

Arrancar Influx Series: Being chosen as part of Toushiro's party to travel down to Karakura Town and help Ichigo, she joined the others in the team and alongside them found Ichigo's school and barrged into his classroom. It didn't take long for someone in the class, name is Keigo to go crazy over the size of her chest and she easily knocked him out. Meeting up again with Ichigo later in his bedroom she was jumped at again by Kon because of the size of her chest and knocked him out aswell. Describing the situation of the Arrancar to Ichigo with everyone else, she asked if she could stay at his house. Not being able to agree as it's way to many people, Rangiku tried to seduce him by unbuttoning her shirt to reveal more of her cleavage. Seeing that it wasn't working she decided to go to Orihime's house and bunk with her. At Orihime's house Rangiku found her in a state of negativity because she felt useless and wanted to help Ichigo so badly, Rangiku tried to make her feel better. Soon enough the Arrancar had arrived in Karakura Town and like the other Soul Reapers in the team, she became a Soul Reaper and took off to find the Arrancar and stop them. Meeting up with an Arrancar by the name of Nakim she drew her Zanpaku-to and began battle. It was proved that she was no match and before long she was battered and bruised showing heavy fatigue and substaining heavy wounds. As the battle raged on she quickly contacted the Court Of Pure Souls requesting an urgent permission if they can use their full power. Luck was on her side as the request was granted and they were allowed to break their limits. She alerted the others that they were allowed to break their limitations and suddenly all of them burst with energy reaching their full power. Rangiku was easily dodgeing Nikam's attacks and using Shunpô to warp around Nikam slashing in different places making quick work of him. Just then Nikam heard word from Qu Fong to make an immediate retreat but Rangiku had no plans on letting Nikam live and unleashed her Initial release. Haineko turned to ash and cut Nikam to shreds, killing him.

To Become A Vaizard Series: Resting from the last fight, she was hanging around with Toushiro, Ikkaku and Yumichika when the Arrancar had re appeared at the exact spot they were together. Letting Toushiro deal with the biggest Arrancar and Ikkaku and Yumichika to deal with the pretty boy, Rangiku focused her attention on a Arrancar who didn't seem the slightest bit bothered. He just sat there with his back turned completely clueless. Rangiku felt wrong to kill him but then she heared Luppi, the pretty boy, claiming he can take on all four of them at once. Seeing Toushiro fail at stopping Luppi release his Initial release, she witnessed her Captain attacked by all eight of Luppi's tentacles and blown out of the sky. She called out to him to see if he was alright but was caught up in Luppi's tentacles and being beaten alongside Ikkaku and Yumichika. The three of them were trapped and couldn't move, wrapped up in Luppi's tentacles. Luppi focused his attention on Rangiku first and made the end of one of his free tentacles turn into a ball with spikes. He wanted to see what such a beatiful women would look like full of holes. Not being able to move, she couldn't do anything except watch the incoming attack. But all hope was restored as Toushiro rose back up and freed them. Using a new attack, Toushiro put Luppi to rest forever. But afterward the Arrancar were called back into Hueco Mundo as their job was done, and Rangiku watched Luppi emerge from his grave and make a threat to Toushiro before dissapearing.

Hueco Mundo: Fight To Reclaim Series: The team was grouped together and informed by Shigekuni of Orihime's dissapearance alongside the Arrancar and now a traitor. They were all forbidden to follow her and told to come back to Soul Society. Byakuya and Kenpachi opened up a portal and Rangiku along with the others stepped through, back to Soul Society.
