Kenpachi Zaraki
Captain of the 11th Division

Information: Kenpachi commands the Division full of fearsome Soul Reapers and one of the strongest Divisions out of the 13 Divisions in Soul Society. Kenpachi also wears a research institute product over his eye. An eye patch which eats his Spiritual power. Kenpachi has so much power that he can't really control it himself and with the eye patch, it east away his power keeping him maintained. When Kenpachi removes the eye patch, his power will boost so high and be so powerful it can causes buildings to collapse around him. Kenpachi aswell admits that he "sucks" at sensing Spiritual energy and couldn't give a damn about that stuff. He is also untalented in the arts of Kidô as he finds Kidô a weaklings toy and useless.

Back Story: His original name was just Kenpachi and he lived in the 80th district in Rukongai. The most bloodthirsty, murderous and out lawed district out of them all. The district was called Zaraki. It was a fight for survival and Kenpachi became wild and aggressive killing those who stood in his way. One day he found a little girl called Yachiru, who was alone and her parents had been killed. She came from the Kusajishi District of Rukongai and adopted that as her last name. Kenpachi decided to take care of the girl and in a similar fashion adopted Zaraki as his last name. He entered the Court Of Pure Souls and killed the previous Captain of the 11th Division. Showing such strength earned him a place in the Court Of Pure Souls and he became the Captain of the 11th Division with Yachiru Kusajishi his Vice Captain. Kenpachi doesn't follow the laws of Soul Society and couldn't really give a damn about anybody, all he looks for is a good challenge, someone he could have a fight to the death with. With such attitude, everyone in the 11th Division look up to him as a legend.

Zanpaku-to: Kenpachi's Zanpaku-to has no name. He is the only Soul Reaper in history to achieve Captain rank status without even knowing his Zanpaku-to's name or even knowing Initial release and Final release. His Zanpaku-to resembles a long Katana but it's edge is very jagged and blunt. It's remarkable how much damage he can deal with a broken sword.

Soul Society: The Sneak Entry Series: Upon recieveing the word of the Intruders breaking into the Court Of Pure Souls, he immediatly wanted to know which one was the strongest and using Yachiru's natural, yet useless, guidance she pointed Kenpachi in the right direction which of course was the wrong direction. Before long he found out that Ikkaku of his team was deafeated and taken to a close by infirmary. Kenpachi went to ask him of what happened to find Mayuri just about to kill Ikkaku because of his uselessness. Kenpachi grabbed his arm and told him that he does not have permission to assault other Division members. In peace he freely talked to Ikkaku and was told about how powerful the intruder is, where he was going, and that his name is Ichigo. Kenpachi left and waited for Ichigo to arrive at the destination he was told by Ikkaku and before long Ichigo arrived. To make his appearance, he rose his Spiritual energy making Ichigo having a hard time trying to stand up. Kenpachi rushed in and appeared behind Ichigo. With such killer intent in his Spiritual energy, Ichigo saw a hallucination of Kenpachi's Zanpaku-to thrust straight through his chest but it didn't actually happen. Ichigo turned around sweating to see Kenpachi standing there looking at him. Before the fighting began, Ichigo told Ganju and Hanataro to hurry on ahead to the tower. Kenpachi wasn't the slightest bit interested and kept his attention on Ichigo. The fight began. Kenpachi noticed how strong a stance Ichigo held as he stood there holding Zangetsu. To give him a chance, Kenpachi opened up his Kimono showing his chest and allowed Ichigo to have a free attack anywhere he wanted. Ichigo did so and swung down only to see that his attack just sat on Kenpachi's skin. Kenpachi completely dissapointed wanted to show Ichigo how it's done. He explained that if he doesn't put enough Spiritual energy into his attack and that it's not stronger than the recievers Spiritual energy, the attack will not cut through. Ichigo was no match and tried his best to run away. Kenpachi managed to find Ichigo numerous of times but when he made the strike Ichigo managed to block it slightly before running away again. Finally getting bored, Kenpachi to surprise Ichigo, burst through the wall and stood infront of him. Suddenly Ichigo seemed motivated and managed to cut Kenpachi. Happy to see that Ichigo could do it, the real fight began. Kenpachi tried various attacks on Ichigo which he was able to just barely avoid or block and Kenpachi was able to grab Ichigo's attacks and throw them in a different directions, he was pleased with Ichigo's ability. Ichigo asked Kenpachi if he's not releasing his Zanpaku-to because of the joy of the fight, but he replied that his broken blade he holds is it's true form. Ichigo ego began to grow and Kenpachi saw an opening, he lunged forward and pointed his Zanpaku-to at Ichigo's chest which he managed to block with his Zanpaku-to. Kenpachi asked why he should care about that stuff and easily pushed his Zanpaku-to through Ichigo's piercing through into his chest. Walking away from a dissapointing fight, Ichigo rose back up and attacked Kenpachi cutting him deeply. Kenpachi loved it and was happy to see Ichigo suddenly more powerful and began fighting once more and started to recieve many wounds but also dealt wounds aswell. It looked as if they were even. Kenpachi decided to show Ichigo something, he removed his eye patch and suddenly his Spiritual energy sky rocketed taking on the image resembling a skull. It was the final attack, Ichigo was ready and started to raise his Spiritual energy and the two clashed in a giant explosion. The dust cleared to reveal Kenpachi's Zanpaku-to within Ichigo's waist and Ichigo's Zanpaku-to within Kenpachi's shoulder. Ichigo said he failed and collapsed onto the ground in a pool of blood. Kenpachi brought his Zanpaku-to up and smiled. Suddenly his blade broke into two. He called Ichigo an idiot and said that he had won before collapsing into a pool of blood. When he awoke his saw Yachiru looking at him. He asked her of Ichigo's condition and was glad he was alive. He reminded Yachiru of the old days and said that even though it's too late, he asked his Zanpaku-to for it's name. But no reply, Kenpachi was dissapointed in himself and just wanted to get stronger.

Soul Society: The Rescue Series: Kenpachi all wrapped up in bandage was brought a special visitor. Makizou had brought Orihime to Kenpachi and he decided to help her, if he did he would meet Ichigo again. With Orihime, he also broke her friends: Uryû, Ganju and Yasutora out of prison. Using Yachiru's amazing directions skills again it wasn't long before he bumped into Sajin and Kaname. They were not happy with Kenpachi's actions with the intruders and were not going to let him be. Orihime and Yachiru carried on ahead, Ikkaku and Yumichika took on Shuhei and Tetsuzaemon, it was just Kenpachi vs Sajin and Kaname. Kaname used the first strike and told him that Kenpachi's day has come unleashing one of his Initial release attacks onto him. But Kenpachi just stood there unharmed from the attack. Kaname took it upon himself to fight and told Sajin to stand back. Kaname used his Final release onto Kenpachi completely covering up Kenpachi's senses and making it pitch black. Kenpachi was at Kaname's mercy and suffered sword wounds from which he couldn't see. Kenpachi thought of a way out and figured it out. Kenpachi stood there awaiting for the correct moment. He deliberatly stood there and took Kaname's attacks, but in that instance he grabbed Kaname's Zanpaku-to and was suddenly able to see again. Saying hello to Kaname once more, he slashed Kaname straight across the chest making him back off. Kaname's Final release wore off and broke. Kaname was standing there with one deep wound and completely exhuasted. While Kenpachi stood tall with many wounds but didn't feel them. Sajin entered the fight and told Kaname to leave and find help to his wounds. Sajin removed his helmet for the first time in many years revealing his face to Kenpachi, who was not too shocked or bothered. Without much chat, Sajin used his Final release to call upon a gigantic figure to loom over him. Kenpachi, Zanpaku-to ready gazed at this monstrous figure ready for it. But before anything could happen, they were informed of Sousuke's betrayel and Sajin cancelled his Final release and fled the scene to the Sogyoku. Kenpachi sat down annoyed he didn't get to fight and saw that Ikkaku and Yumichika won there fights. After all the events of Sousuke going to Hueco Mundo, Kenpachi went to the 11th Division dojo. He found Ikkaku and Ichigo sparring against one another. Surprised to see Ichigo's wounds healed so quickly, he made a quick attack and was happy to fight him again, but just that second Ichigo took off out the window and ran for it. Kenpachi grumbling to himself took off after him swinging his Zanpaku-to wanting a rematch.

!Anime Only! The Bount Series: The Bount had broke into Soul Society. Maki a former Soul Reaper was helping Jin accomplish his goals and using his Initial release he trapped Toushiro, Rangiku, Renji, Ichigo, Orihime, Yasutora and Uryû within his created light sphere. Altering the dimension around them, Maki could easily take each one out. But before he could, Kenpachi using his enourmous Spiritual energy broke Maki's Initial release and stopped his attack. Seeing Ichigo again, Kenpachi told him that he should stop by Division 11 and they would happily greet him. But to the matter at hand, Kenpachi recognised Maki who once was part of his Division and decided to take on Maki himself. Everyone left Kenpachi to fight Maki himself. The battle began and Maki made his assault onto Kenpachi but the attacks were nothing and Kenpachi easily blocked every blow. Maki then used his Initial release to trap Kenpachi within his light sphere and delivered a series of quick blows but once again Kenpachi knocked them all back by just using his Spiritual energy. Now getting serious Kenpachi witnessed Maki drastically increase his Spiritual energy and use a technique of his Initial release increasing his attack speed causing Kenpachi to actually move while blocking. But letting one slip Kenpachi suffered a wound across his shoulder. Not flinching, Kenpachi was just happy Maki could fight. Not on the offensive side Kenpachi did a series of swings pushing back Maki. But suddenly Kenpachi noticed little light sparkles surrounding him and before he knew it, Maki used his Initial releases true power to engulf Kenpachi in light energy. The surrounding area erupted in light and Maki stood back claiming Kenpachi is now dead. As the light started to get smaller and smaller, Kenpachi within the light found it difficult to move around. Not being able to attack anything or break out of the enclosing light, Kenpachi removed his eye patch to release his true ammount of Spiritual energy to break out of the light sphere. When the smoke cleared Maki saw Kenpachi standing infront of him. Kenpachi congratulated Maki for making him go all out even for just a second before grabbing Maki's Zanpaku-to and slashing him across the chest causing a deep wound. Kenpachi took his leave and told Maki that where he claimed that he was fighting for Jin, Maki's true intentions was to just fight Kenpachi for revenge. Maki didn't want to believe it and stood once more raising his Zanpaku-to. It was the final attack as they both raised their Spiritual energy and collided and their Spiritual energies merged. Within the huge energy, Kenpachi easily broke through Maki's Zanpaku-to and killd him.

Hueco Mundo: Fight To Reclaim Series: Kenpachi was orded, alongside Byakuya, to open a gate to let Toushiro's group come back through to Soul Society which he did without an argument.
