Former Captain ("Sealed Sword Frenzy" OVA only)

Killed by Ichigo

Back Story: 400 years before the Bleach Storyline, Baishin was a Captain in Soul Society. He had superior strength to some of the other Captains but fought for the law. But he wanted to gain more power and tried something no Soul Reaper has done, and that was to fuse with his Zanpaku-to. Baishin thinking that this would work somehow managed to gain such power but went balistic and went on a killing spree. Many Soul Reapers fell to him and Baishin didn't put an end to the destruction. Finding nothing much left of interest he fled Soul Society to the Living World and ended up in Karakura Town. ut there he was chased by 5 Captains which 2 of them had to sacrifice their lives to seal him away into a shrine.

Zanpaku-to: Baishin's Zanpaku-to's name is unknown along with his Initial release chant or what it looks like. His Final release, though it's name is unknown causes Baishin's body to become hundreds of tiny blades.

Information: 15 years into the Bleach storyline, Baishin was released from him prison and finally free he carried on relentless destruction and hunted down those with high Spiritual power, namely Ichigo. With the Captains knowing of Baishin's release they quickly went to Karakura Town and the search began. Ichigo proved no match against him the first time they fought and Renji also suffered damage. In a final confrontation at the place of his sealment, Ichigo and Renji fought him once more. Renji was the first to be taken out and Ichigo was left. Baishin watched as Ichigo used his Final release and to fight against it, Baishin also used his Final release. The fight raged on but in a powerful strike, Ichigo cut Baishin down using his Final release and killed him. Baishin was then buried.
