Isshin Kurosaki
Former captain, unknown Division

Information: A loud and comical fellow. He loves his family and tries his best to protect them at all costs even if they find him a pain and overall a nuisance with his over protection and often causing mischief. Isshin also likes fighting with Ichigo claiming he does it to train him even though he always loses. He is a very skilled doctor and thus owns his own Clinic attached to his house. Married to Masaki and has three children: Ichigo, Karin and Yuzu.

Back Story: Nothing is know about Isshin when he was a Soul Reaper except that he was one 20 years before the Bleach storyline and that he was a Captain. But then he decided to quit being a Soul Reaper and left for the Living World and settled down with a family in Karakura Town and had children. He seems to know Kisuke quite well aswell. As Isshin is skilled in medical treatment, this suggests that he might of been Captain of the 4th Division during his life as a Soul Reaper.

Zanpaku-to: Nothing is known about his Zanpaku-to accept that it's a thick edged Katana.

Agent Of The Soul Reaper Series: First introduced to Isshin, he finds it abnormal that Ichigo discuses issues with his sisters and not his dear old dad. He also finds his daughters acting so harsh towards him lately and blaims it on puberty and asks his deceased wife what to do. The night his family was attacked by Fish Bone the Hollow, Isshin was tossed aside as he tried to protect them (Manga)/he was not present during the Hollow's attack as work duty called him out of town (Anime). Due to Rukia's device erasing their memories, Isshin believed the next day that a truck hit their house and lucky no one was hurt. He also kept his oath and took his family to see Masaki's grave, loving wife and mother, once a year. During the time of visit to her grave it was a wet and rainy day, and the only day Isshin smokes because Miyako thought it made him look cool. Also as a fan of Don Kanonji's tv show he took his family to see Don Kanonji live during a show being aired live locally.

Soul Society: The Sneak Entry Series: During Ichigo's holiday off school, he claimed he was going to a camp with his friends. Isshin gave Ichigo in trust of a family item telling him it will keep him safe in his journey and asked for it back when Ichigo returns home.

Arrancar Influx Series: The first time we learn of Isshin as a Soul Reaper. Always been able to sense Spiritual energy but not blowing his cover, Isshin felt a strong Hollow emerge nearby, something drastically powerful. Deciding once more to become a Soul Reaper, he ditched his Gigai he has been in for so many years and left to fight the Hollow. Arriving at the scene he found a gigantic Hollow who owned a Zanpaku-to. It was an evolved form of Grand Fisher, the Hollow which killd Isshin's wife all those years back. Seeing Kon inside Ichigo's body next to him he calmy pulled something out his pocket and passed it to him saying it was Kon's in the first place. Kon asked him how Isshin knew it wasn't Ichigo. Isshin replied that he always knew and told him not once did he call him Ichigo when Kon was inside his body. Grand Fisher transformed even bigger and more ferocious. Isshin knew what he was, an Arrancar and drew his Zanpaku-to. In one attack, Isshin cut Grand Fisher in half explaining that the size of your Zanpaku-to doesn't mean anything. After the fight, Kisuke showed up and they had a little talk about Ichigo. Isshin knew of Ichigo's torment he was having with his Hollow self and knew that he would try and learn how to control it from the Vaizards. Isshin also knew of Sousuke Aizen's doing in all of this, making Arrancar and increasing their strength and how he had obtained the Orb Of Distortion.

To Become A Vaizard Series: When Rukia was brought over to Ichigo's house to his room. Isshin and Yuzu were most interested in his new lady friend, listening through the door wondering what they were doing together. But they were soon kicked away from Ichigo who heard their voices. Isshin then allowed Rukia to live at his household during her time of stay after hearing her heart warming false tale.
