Information: We have only seen Nejibana from a distance but we can tell it's a Katana with a dark handle, and kept sheathed through Kaien's waist tie to his side.

Information: Sadly we do not know anything officially of Nejibana's Initial release. As soon as Kaien activated it, his Zanpaku-to smashed into pieces and soon after Kaien died eliminating the chance to see Nejibana again. But according to Sega's Bleach game, Bleach: Tasogare Ni Mamieru Shinigami for the Gamecube, Nejibana's Initial release form takes on the look of a long silver trident with some blue hair attached to it, and has the ability of water based attacks. The idea of Wtaer based attacks is also backed up by what is said in the Initial release call.
