The two arrive at their destination, and not waiting for Trunks to attack first, Vegeta rushes him, connecting with a shot to the jaw. Trunks is sent backwards, but immediately retaliates by dropkicking Vegeta. The action goes back and forth for a while, and it seems that neither will gain the upper hand. Vegeta proclaims he's never going to quit until Vegeta is nothing but a pile of ashes. Trunks only chuckles, and rushes Vegeta again...
=The rest of Piccolo's "Shadow Dancers," those who resist Vegeta finally arrive. They see Piccolo laying on the ground and rush to his side. Krillin is petrified by what he sees. Piccolo is laying there, shriveled up, like he is a walking skeleton with skin. Piccolo, in a faint voice, explains the story of Trunks and how they had left for one final battle. Krillin asks what they should do, and Piccolo replies simply-PRAY....=
Both of the fighters are worn almost completely out, but neither will stop. Vegeta shoots ki blasts at Trunks rapidly, but Trunks dodges them easily. Trunks proclaims the evil that has taken his father's heart MUST be vanquished. Then he snarls, "You aren't the strongest, not close. Goku was twice the Saiyan you'll EVER be, in body and soul!!!!" And with a renewed sense of rage, the battle rolls on.....
Vegeta finally begins to take the upper hand. He starts landing more and more punches and kicks, as well as many ki blasts. Things are looking darker and bleeker for Trunks. Trunks knees Vegeta in the stomach, to no avail. Vegeta picks Trunks up with one hand, and tells him to prepare to die, for Vegeta is going to utterly destroy him, vaporize him completely. Trunks' head slumps down, as if he finally accepted his defeat. But, wait....he is not through, for he was not sobbing, but laughing. He begins to glow, in a strange red aura, as does Vegeta. Vegeta's grip on Trunks loosens, and he eventually drops him. Vegeta powers down to SSJ3, then 2, then 1, then finally back to normal. His muscles are slowly shrinking, and he begins to slump over.
Vegeta asks Trunks in a weak, raspy voice what he's doing. Trunks tells Vegeta that in his moment of victory, he let his guard down totally, allowing Trunks to do to him the same thing he did to Piccolo. Vegeta tries to stand, but by now is too weak to even move. Trunks tells him he is a disgrace to all Saiyans, especially himsels. And with that he screams, "Burning Kamikaze Attack" and Vegeta is totally blown away. After this, Trunks falls limply to the ground, and grunts, "Now hopefully my father's true soul can finally rest in peace, and know the only warrior who could defeat him all this time, was.....himself."
