This game is great, its not just a one play game, you can play it over and over again. It's very challenging.

It starts out at the main menu, where you can customize your controls and the diffuculty, and you can also enter in passwords there. You start out with a puny little blaster gun that does a little bit of damage. Then once you get farther you can pick up different guns like: Shotgun, Super Shotgun, Grenade Launcher, Rocket Launcher, Machine Gun, ChainGun, Railgun, HyperBlaster and the most powerful of them all the BFG10k. The BFG fires a huge plasma blast and if it sees any enemies it fires little plasma lasers at them. It is the most powerful gun in the game! You only get 200 cells for it though, and each time you fire it it uses 50 cells because the blast is so powerful. The Hyperblaster also uses cells.

On each level you have missions. The first few levels have easy missions and when you get farther the missions get harder. On the first level you just get to the goal. On the second, you retrieve stuff and bring it back to elsewhere in the level and then force fields go away or elevators power up so you can get to the goal. The game is very challenging. Once you beat it you can try again. It's very fun, and it only takes a bit to load the levels. I hope you have fun playing this game!

You might enjoy the player's guide. It is out of print, but you can still get a used copy if you're interested. If you don't get it here, make sure that you get a guide for the N64, since the one for the PC version of the game is somewhat different.
